About the role Leading Edge Physiotherapy is seeking a dedicated and organised Physiotherapy Administration/Reception professional to join our team on a part-time up to full-time basis . Based in Rose Park, SA 5067 , this role is essential to the smooth operation of our clinic, serving as the first point of contact for our patients whilst managing critical administrative functions that keep our practice running efficiently. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and supporting our clinical team to deliver exceptional physiotherapy services. Key responsibilities Greeting patients upon arrival and managing the reception area to ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere Scheduling and confirming patient appointments using clinic management systems Processing patient registrations and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Handling patient enquiries via telephone, email and in person with professionalism and courtesy Processing payments and managing financial transactions in accordance with clinic procedures Coordinating with physiotherapists to ensure efficient patient flow and appointment scheduling Managing clinic supplies and equipment inventory as required Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with health privacy regulations Performing general administrative duties including filing, data entry and correspondence Supporting the clinic team with additional tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency Managing and scheduling reception team members to ensure operational efficiency What we're looking for Previous experience in a medical, healthcare or reception-based environment is highly desirable Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour Proficiency in using computer systems and clinic management software, or the willingness to learn quickly A friendly, patient-focused approach with genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion Reliable, punctual and committed to supporting the clinic team Knowledge of health privacy regulations and compliance requirements is a plus First Aid certification or willingness to obtain this qualification is advantageous What we offer Leading Edge Physiotherapy is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative workplace where staff feel valued and motivated.
