As Team Leader – Restoring Families, you will lead the delivery of the restoring stream, supporting families experiencing complex, significant and enduring challenges, with a strong focus on recovery, safety and healing. This role sits within an integrated service model aligned to the Victorian Family Services Strategic Framework, where you will work closely with leaders across Connecting and Strengthening streams to ensure cohesive, responsive and client-centred support. You will provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and oversight to a team of dedicated practitioners, empowering them to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed interventions that strengthen family functioning, reduce risk, and disrupt cycles of disadvantage and intergenerational harm. With a strong emphasis on early intervention, collaboration and continuous improvement, you will champion best practice, support professional growth within your team, and ensure services are delivered in a way that is culturally safe, inclusive and outcomes-focused. About the Role As a Team Leader – Restoring Families , you will: Lead, supervise and support a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality, evidence-based family support services focused on recovery, safety and healing Oversee program delivery, ensuring effective risk assessment, case management, goal setting and positive outcomes for families with complex needs Drive collaboration and integration across Connecting, Strengthening and Restoring service streams to ensure seamless, client-centred support pathways Manage operational and people leadership responsibilities including supervision, performance development, program planning, and contributing to budget and reporting requirements Position Details Part time, Ongoing position 0.7 FTE working 26.6 hours per week $119,350 p/a (pro-rata) Super Salary Packaging What We’re Looking For We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have: A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or equivalent, or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of relevant legislation with a demonstrated compliance in work practices. Demonstrated experience providing positive leadership and supervision with a focus on support and accountability of a team within a complex service delivery environment. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation and externally. Highly developed communication skills with an ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively in both written documents and verbal interactions.
