About the role We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis (available across ALL shifts) at our facility in Pinjarra, WA. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality nursing care to our elderly residents. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians while maintaining a work‑life balance through casual employment arrangements. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive individualised, evidence‑based care that promotes their wellbeing and quality of life. Key responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to aged care residents, including assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and best practice standards Monitor and record residents' health status, vital signs and any changes in condition Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare team members regarding care plans and resident wellbeing Assist with activities of daily living and personal care support as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and health information Support the maintenance of a safe, clean and therapeutic environment Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns with compassion and professionalism Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care delivery What we're looking for Strong knowledge of aged care nursing practices, infection control and safety protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with elderly residents and their families Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Sound clinical judgement and problem‑solving abilities Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining nursing standards Flexibility and reliability for casual shift work What we offer At Bedingfeld Park Aged Care, we value our nursing staff and provide a supportive workplace environment.
