About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Electronics Engineer / ENGINEERING SUPPORT to support the design, testing, and quality assurance of electronic signage and ITS products. This is a dual-role position combining engineering support, documentation, and quality control, working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. Key Responsibilities Engineering Support & Technical Duties Review and validate job design details against project deliverables Develop and assist with wiring diagrams, BOMs, and technical documentation Maintain accurate as-built records and update design information Support development of test procedures and test jigs Assist with firmware and software configuration for products Compile assembly instructions and user manuals Provide internal support to engineering and production teams Offer basic technical support to customers when required Quality Assurance & Testing Perform inspection and testing of modules and completed products Ensure products meet QC check sheets and quality standards Record serial numbers, test results and product photos Verify all documentation is complete prior to dispatch Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and company QC procedures Maintain high standards for product quality and consistency Production & Process Support Maintain and manage job documentation and folders Ensure QC documentation is available to the production team Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure quality requirements are achieved Support packing, labelling, and dispatch readiness where required Assist in improving processes, documentation, and build efficiency MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Managing and checking job design details are correct against deliverables Producing and/or assisting with wiring diagrams Producing as-built records, updating design information as required from assembled product Recording all job information to correct folders Assisting with testing and QC processes of modules and finished products Design of test procedures and test jigs Ensure correct firmware, software is used for the product Assist engineering and production staff as required to finalise product build Compile and write detailed instruction and assembly manuals for products Be able to speak with customers to provide technical support Be able to use various software packages and adapt as necessary to produce documentation, wiring diagrams, Bill of Materials Liaise with Production Manager to ensure QC requirements are being met Be familiar with Australian Standards, the company's manufacturing standards and Quality Control procedures to be able to effectively pass/fail a product Be compliant with the company's OH&S policies Skills & Experience Qualification in Electronics Engineering or related field Experience in electronic manufacturing, assembly, or testing environments Ability to read and produce wiring diagrams and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and structured approach to QA processes Experience with test procedures and quality control systems Familiarity with firmware/software handling (desirable) Good communication skills and ability to work across teams Proficient in documentation tools and engineering software Compliance & Safety Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures at all times Ensure all products comply with relevant Australian Standards Why Join Us Work on innovative ITS and electronic signage solutions Be part of a collaborative engineering and production team Opportunity to contribute across full product lifecycle – design to delivery
