About the Role Due to an internal promotion, we are currently searching for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HR BP) for our Mining Operations in the idyllic countryside of Muchea commencing immediately on permanent full-time basis. The position is based at our Chandala Processing Plant, located near Muchea, 60km north of the CBD. The role also supports our nearby mine near Cataby 190km north of the CBD, on site on a weekly basis. Accommodation is available when in Cataby, if required. Our Northern Operation sites are ideally positioned for those living in the councils of Chittering, Swan, Joondalup, or Wanneroo. The successful person will enjoy being part of an experienced HR team, working with front line leaders and managers to create and leverage opportunities for greater workplace collaboration and productivity. The HR BP will be accountable for partnering with business leaders to deliver human resources practices throughout the employee lifecycle. This includes a strong understanding and experience in recruitment, change management, remuneration, employee relations, performance and case management, succession planning and coaching leaders to create a high-performance culture, workforce capability and a high level of employee engagement. Your key responsibilities will be: Drive and implement best practices in people and culture programs and supporting processes. Offer consulting advice to leaders on various industrial relations, complex employment matters, HR systems and people and culture issues generally. Support line managers in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing capabilities, and increasing employee engagement. Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of people strategies, initiatives, reports, projects, and procedures at a local level. Improve manager and employee performance by clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, and coaching and counselling managers and employees. Work with allocated areas of the business to identify and plan for workforce requirements and business needs to drive a positive employment relationship and a high performance, high capability culture. About You Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline. Practical work experience in a HR generalist role. Thorough understanding of applicable Australian employment laws. Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling successful relationship building. Strong attention to detail, effectively managing time, planning, and evaluating tasks. Ability to take initiative and resolve pending issues. High level of computer literacy, data management and systems oriented. Why Join Tronox?
