Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s plant, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe, functional and welcoming environment for guests and team members. You Will Be Responsible For Assisting with the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the hotel’s facilities, plant and equipmentConducting routine plant and equipment checks, identifying faults and carrying out repairs where requiredPerforming preventative maintenance tasks in line with schedules and operational requirementsResponding to maintenance requests across guest rooms and public areas in a timely mannerLiaising with contractors and internal departments to ensure all work is completed efficientlyMaintaining accurate records of maintenance work, repairs and inspectionsEnsuring all tools and equipment are used and stored safely and correctlySupporting the team to minimise downtime and return out-of-order areas back into service quicklyUpholding workplace health, safety and environmental standards at all times This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and contributing to a high-performing hotel operation.
