The Distributors Cairns and Townsville are a locally owned and operated wholesale distribution business supplying confectionery, groceries, snack foods and beverages throughout North Queensland and remote regional areas. Due to continued growth and expansion of our Townsville warehouse operations, we are seeking a motivated and reliable full-time Warehouse Picker/Packer/Storeman to join our team. About the Role: This is a hands-on warehouse role working within a fast-paced distribution environment. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including order picking, stock replenishment, receivals and forklift operations. This is a full-time position and applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday from 7:00am onwards. We are specifically seeking applicants looking for stable, long-term full-time employment. Key Responsibilities: • Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner • Replenish and rotate stock within the warehouse • Load and unload trucks and containers • Receive and process incoming stock deliveries • Complete receival and dispatch paperwork accurately • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently • Assist other warehouse staff as required About You: • Current QLD Forklift Licence desirable • Stand-up forklift experience is highly desirable • Must be available for full-time hours Monday to Friday from 7:00am • Previous warehouse/storeman experience preferred • Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Reliable with a strong work ethic • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Must have own reliable transport and current driver’s licence What We Offer: • Full-time stable employment • Friendly team environment • Opportunity to grow within the business • Work with a long-standing local FNQ company • Immediate start available for the right applicant Diversity and Inclusion: We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity and equal opportunity.
