The clinic offers a variety of massage and wellness treatments including: Remedial massage Relaxation massage Neck and shoulder massage Whole body massage Reflexology Pregnancy massage Hot stone therapy Foot care Cupping Ear candle treatments Health Point Massage is seeking a qualified and motivated Remedial Massage Therapist to join the team on a full-time basis and support the delivery of professional remedial massage and wellness services within the clinic. The role: The Remedial Massage Therapist will assess clients’ physical conditions and provide professional remedial massage treatments to assist with muscular tension, pain management, rehabilitation, stress reduction, circulation improvement, and mobility enhancement. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to develop suitable treatment approaches while maintaining professional standards, hygiene requirements, and high-quality customer service within the clinic environment. Key responsibilities: Conduct client consultations and physical assessments to identify musculoskeletal conditions, muscular tension, pain symptoms, mobility restrictions, and treatment requirements Assess soft tissue dysfunctions and develop appropriate remedial massage treatment plans based on individual client needs Provide remedial massage treatments using a range of therapeutic massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, Shiatsu/acupressure, stretching techniques, and soft tissue manipulation Apply remedial massage techniques to assist with pain management, rehabilitation, stress reduction, injury prevention, improved circulation, and mobility enhancement Perform therapeutic treatments aimed at relieving muscular tension, soft tissue discomforts, mobility restrictions, and related physical conditions Provide specialised treatments including reflexology, cupping therapy, hot stone therapy, ear candling, and relaxation massage services where appropriate Administer massage treatments to promote relaxation, improve physical wellbeing, and support recovery outcomes for clients Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches where necessary to support ongoing rehabilitation and wellbeing outcomes Recommend appropriate aftercare, stretching exercises, posture advice, relaxation techniques, and ongoing maintenance programs to clients Maintain accurate client consultation records, treatment notes, and appointment documentation in accordance with clinic procedures Ensure treatment rooms, massage equipment, linen, and clinic facilities are maintained in a clean, hygienic, and professional condition at all times Comply with workplace health and safety requirements, infection control procedures, and professional practice standards Deliver professional and high-quality customer service while maintaining positive relationships with clients in a wellness clinic environment Work collaboratively with management and other staff members to support the daily operations and service standards of Health Point Massage Assist in maintaining a welcoming, professional, and client-focused environment consistent with the services provided by Health Point Massage About you (requirements): Relevant qualification, certification, or training in Remedial Massage Therapy, Massage Therapy, or a related field Previous experience working in the massage, wellness, health, spa, or related service industry Ability to provide professional remedial and relaxation massage treatments tailored to client needs Good understanding of massage techniques, body relaxation, and client care practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide professional customer service Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Professional presentation and positive work attitude Commitment to workplace hygiene, cleanliness, health and safety, and professional standards Good organisational skills and attention to detail Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays where required What we offer: Permanent full-time position with long-term employment opportunities Competitive salary package based on qualifications and experience Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity to work within an established and growing massage and wellness business Exposure to a wide range of massage and wellness treatments Ongoing professional development and practical industry experience How to apply: Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant qualifications and experience.
