We are seeking a Production Assistant to join the Love Tea production team in Geelong, Victoria. You’ll be part of our small in-house production team, who spend their day blending and packing our tea blends. Kindly note, this role is manual in nature and you will spend the majority of the day on your feet. Prior experience is not required, all training will be provided. This role is a casual position. We are looking for candidates with availability on 3 - 4 weekdays. Key responsibilities Work cohesively in a team environment to ensure that all production is manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with Love Tea specifications and quality requirements. Assist with tea blending processes, and ensure raw materials, packaging and finished goods stock are put away and used on a FIFO batch basis. Complete production room set up and/or clean down as directed. Accurately complete end of batch counts and recording of own production times on batch documentation. Complete end of day clean-down procedures to standard, including the cleaning of the pyramid machinery, without supervision. Ensure warehouse is clean, tidy, and organised in alignment with Love Tea standards at the completion of each day. Skills & Competencies Attention to detail. Willingness to assist and support others as required and work cohesively with team members to achieve daily goals. Communication. The ability to communicate in a calm, clear, respectful and concise manner. Time management and organisation. Be punctual, and able to accomplish objectives effectively within required time frame.
