Our federal government client is seeking an EL1 Lead Investigator for a 12-month contract, based in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne. Key Duties/Deliverables Lead a team responsible for delivering investigation objectives, with a focus on partnership and support across the organisation, and their regulatory/enforcement partner agencies. Case manage and quality assure complex and sensitive investigations, resulting in high-quality planning, evidence collection, briefs of evidence and reports. Develop capability that reflects effective, innovative practice and contemporary/traditional investigative strategies tools and techniques. Promote awareness of their payment integrity response framework. Review and report on investigations based on program and payment integrity with monitoring of actions to address identified challenges. Provide analysis of the findings and outcomes relating to the maturity of their payment integrity and fraud capability, including investigations. Develop and implement department initiatives to enhance investigations. Develop and maintain high-level working relationships key partner agencies including the Office of Department of Public Prosecutions (Cth) and other government and law enforcement entities. Assist with the execution of out of office investigative and operational activity, which may require domestic air travel and overnight stays. Key Requirements You must hold a Certificate IV in Government Investigations You must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance. You can be located in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney and they offer flexible hybrid working arrangements, with 2-3 days in the office each week.
