Our long standing client is seeking a Study Manager to lead its end-to-end study development process. This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s strategic planning, bringing together technical, commercial, planning, environmental, and stakeholder workstreams into coherent, evidence-based recommendations that drive investment decisions. This is an opportunity to shape how complex, multidisciplinary studies are delivered with rigour and strategic alignment across a major infrastructure organisation. Lead the full lifecycle of strategic studies, integrating technical, commercial, environmental, and stakeholder perspectives into robust business cases Drive best-practice front-end engineering development, from scope definition through to cost estimation, scheduling, and technical specification Develop investment logic maps, scenario modelling, and analytical frameworks that support high-quality organisational decision-making Preferred Requirements 10 years of experience in study management, front-end engineering development, feasibility studies, or major infrastructure planning Proven leadership of multidisciplinary studies involving technical, commercial, environmental, planning, and stakeholder workstreams Strong capability in developing investment logic maps, options assessments, scenario modelling, and business case documentation Expertise in front-end engineering practices, including scope definition, cost estimation, scheduling, constructability assessment, and technical specification Demonstrated analytical strength in scenario modelling, demand forecasting, risk assessment, and value optimisation Preferred Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Planning, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA, Systems Engineering degree, or Infrastructure Planning qualification Demonstrated experience working in regulated or complex infrastructure environments.
