We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mill Operator to join a leading steel manufacturing operation based in O’Sullivan Beach. Responsibilities Shift Pattern: Week 1: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:15am to 3:15pm Week 2: Afternoon Shift – Monday to Thursday, 2:45pm to 11:45pm Operate and monitor mill machinery and production equipment Feed materials through the production line and adjust settings as required Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards Identify and resolve minor mechanical or process issues to minimise downtime Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture Your Profile Proven experience in steel, metal, or heavy manufacturing environments Previous experience operating industrial machinery or production equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic issues Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment Committed to workplace safety and following procedures Reliable with strong attendance and a solid work ethic Able to work independently and as part of a team Forklift licence (LF) – highly regarded If this sounds like you, you’ll benefit from stable, ongoing work with a reputable manufacturer, competitive pay with a clear and consistent shift structure, and the opportunity to be part of a skilled, safety-focused team.
