With a strong values-based approach, the organisation is committed to enhancing safety, dignity, and recovery through holistic, trauma-informed care and community Your new role Provide intake, triage, and crisis response to individuals accessing the service Deliver therapeutic counselling and ongoing case management support Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to support client wellbeing Develop and coordinate case plans with clients and key stakeholders Support women and families experiencing complex and high-risk situations Provide referrals and connect clients with appropriate community services Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders Provide court support and advocacy on a rotational basis Maintain accurate client records and complete reporting and administrative requirements Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development Work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, client-centred services What you'll need to succeed Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or Counselling (with registration or eligibility)Experience working with women and/or children impacted by domestic and family violenceStrong understanding of trauma-informed practice, crisis response, and risk assessmentKnowledge of relevant legislation, including DFV frameworksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage complex caseloads and sensitive situationsStrong organisational and administrative skillsIntermediate computer skills including Microsoft OfficeCurrent drivers licence, Blue Card, and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Ability to work effectively with diverse communities What you'll get in return This is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation where your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on the safety and wellbeing of women and families in the community.
