Subcontracts Program Manager (Bids and Proposals) SA, Adelaide Supply Chain 19438BR About us: Flexible full-time role | Australia-wide location at an LMA Office | Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane preferred About the Role Partnering with the Supply Chain Leadership Team, this role provides strategic leadership of supply chain aspects of bids and proposals, ensuring a pipeline of future projects, meaningful industry development strategies and transition to project execution success. Your responsibilities will include: Contribute to the strategic positioning of customer bids Identify opportunities to develop Australian Industry Capability, both for a specific program and from a whole of business perspective Partner with Capture Managers to design future supply chains Identify and develop appropriate sets of terms and conditions for subcontractor and supplier engagement Undertake RFIs, RFPs, RFTs with industry to get bid inputs and establish the cost and schedule baseline Undertake supply chain resource planning relative to executing the bid, including developing detailed basis of estimates Identify supply chain risks and associated mitigation measures to ensure program success Undertake transition to project execution planning, including negotiating, executing and mobilisation planning for subcontracts and supply agreements that need to be in place prior to contract commencement Contribute to overall proposals, including reviewing and responding to customer terms, statement of works and partnering with other functions to ensure overall cohesiveness of proposal About you: About You You are a highly experienced supply chain professional who has undertaken a diverse range of roles, including complex contracting, procurement and supply chain development. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Significant multi-domain supply chain experience across complex contracting, category management, procurement, industry development, supply planning, logistics and supplier management Demonstrated experience preparing bids and proposals Significant experience executing both Sustainment and Acquisition projects preferably within the Defence Industry Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
