This permanent full-time opportunity is suited to an experienced Carpenter ready to step into a leadership role while remaining hands-on across high-end residential projects. As the Leading Hand Carpenter, you will manage two teams of two carpenters across multiple Adelaide and Hills project sites. Your responsibilities will include: • Completing quality assurance checks • Overseeing construction stages across multiple projects • Verifying works against building plans • Liaising with clients and providing progress updates • Supporting the team on the tools as required Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with flexibility to start later or finish earlier around family and life commitments. Requirements The successful candidate will have: Qualifications in Carpentry Experience working with a general builder Experience in high-end, architectural or heritage residential projects Ability to read and interpret plans and sketches Understanding of gyprock installation and end-to-end construction stages Previous leadership or management experience, or demonstrated capability to step into a Leading Hand role Your own reliable vehicle Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills Benefits Permanent full-time position Work on premium residential projects valued between $750k and $2m Lead and mentor carpentry teams Flexible working arrangements to support family and life commitments Build your leadership career with a respected Adelaide builder This is more than just a Leading Hand Carpenter role.
