Kwinana, Perth | $100 to $105 per hour | 3–6 Month Contract Why This Role $100 to $105 per hour 3–6 month contract Permanent FTE opportunity for the right candidate ASAP start Kwinana, Perth location Work across medium to large outages at a lithium refinery SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and MS Project environment This role is ideal for an experienced Shutdown Coordinator with a strong fixed plant, refinery, shutdown and projects background who can lead outage preparation, execution and completion activities in a complex operational environment. The Role We are seeking an experienced Shutdown Coordinator to lead shutdown preparation and management for medium to large outages at a lithium refinery in Kwinana, Perth. You will coordinate shutdown tasks, manage scope changes, support critical safety activities and help drive the shutdown through execution, completion and analysis. This is a hands-on coordination role requiring strong shutdown experience, sound planning discipline and the ability to work across stakeholders in a live refinery environment. What You’ll Be Doing Leading shutdown preparation and coordination activities Managing shutdown tasks across medium to large refinery outages Coordinating scope, schedule and execution requirements Managing scope changes throughout the shutdown process Supporting critical safety tasks and shutdown readiness Coordinating execution activities through to completion Completing post-shutdown analysis and close-out activities Working within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and MS Project Engaging with site teams to ensure shutdown work is aligned, controlled and execution ready What You’ll Bring Substantial experience across fixed plant, refinery, shutdowns or projects Proven experience coordinating shutdowns or refinery outages Strong understanding of shutdown preparation, execution and close-out Ability to manage scope changes and competing priorities Experience supporting critical safety tasks within shutdown environments SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience MS Project experience Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills Must have the right to work in Australia About Us Maintenance Systems Solutions Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company with offices throughout Australia and internationally.
