Entry level welding role Monday to Friday Weekly pay Available Role We are currently seeking a Production Labourer/Tack Welder for a role based in Swanbank, starting at 4:00am. This position involves working within a concrete manufacturing environment, welding reinforcing bars (reo bar) for precast concrete barriers and structures. Why Join Us? What You'll Do: Perform tack welding on reo bars , applying small spot welds to temporarily fuse joints and maintain structural alignment Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to position, align, and secure metal components Clean and prepare metals , including grinding edges when required Work within a concrete precast manufacturing environment What We're Looking For: Mechanical Certificate II or higher highly regarded, but not essential Welding experience in any capacity (including school workshop experience) Positive attitude and prior manual labour experience essential Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and drug screening Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Availability to work up to 10-hour shifts Strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety What's In It for You?
