The Broken Hill Hotel is currently seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Qualified Chef to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis . About the Role: We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen, takes pride in their work, and is committed to delivering high-quality meals consistently. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a chef in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan menus and estimate food and labour costs Order and manage food supplies Monitor food quality throughout preparation and presentation Liaise with management, dietitians, kitchen, and front-of-house staff on food preparation Demonstrate cooking techniques and procedures Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations Maintain a high standard under pressure and during busy service periods Work full-time hours across a rotating roster Requirements: Trade qualification as a Chef Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Excellent references Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team What We Offer: A competitive salary starting from $76,515 per annum A supportive and friendly team environment The chance to live and work in the relaxed and historic town of Boulder, WA If you're ready for a new opportunity and think you'd enjoy the laid-back lifestyle of regional WA, we’d love to hear from you.
