Job Description The Role This is not a “keep the lights on” role. As our IT Systems Engineer, you’ll take ownership of improving and shaping our systems; reducing recurring issues, strengthening security, and enabling the business to operate more effectively. Working onsite from our Camberwell office 3-4 days per week, you will work closely with the IT Operations Manager and act as a senior escalation point, solving complex issues while supporting and mentoring the wider IT team. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and improve system architecture (Azure, Microsoft 365, SaaS integrations) Act as the escalation point for complex issues, outages, and critical incidents Proactively monitor systems and resolve risks before they impact the business Support hardware rollouts, asset management, and infrastructure improvements Lead system upgrades, deployments, and change management processes Maintain clear documentation and improve system standards Mentor IT support staff and step in as a leader when required
