This is a hands-on laboratory role where you will support production, quality control, and customer technical service activities . You’ll play a key role in ensuring product performance, conducting testing, and delivering technical support to both internal teams and external customers. They are seeking a Technical Services Chemist to join their Bayswater-based team in a permanent capacity. Responsibilities Conduct quality control testing on production batches Perform corrosion testing and prepare technical reports for customers and internal stakeholders Complete technical service work as requested by sales and customers Maintain and calibrate laboratory and corrosion test equipment Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results Support ongoing lab operations and equipment upkeep Adhere to Permit to Work (PtW) processes and safety procedures Ensure compliance with EHS policies and company standards Uphold professional standards in line with company values and code of conduct Your Profile Degree in Chemistry (essential or highly desirable) Exposure to metal finishing, coatings, or specialty chemical manufacturing (preferred) Experience in a laboratory or QA/QC environment Understanding of corrosion testing or materials performance (advantageous) Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a structured environment Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement If you’re a motivated Chemistry graduate or early-career professional looking to develop your technical skills in a dynamic industry, we’d love to hear from you.
