Our client is looking for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to be based in Newcastle. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of comprehensive logistics solutions for a high-profile defence program. You will be responsible for conducting thorough logistics supportability analyses, contributing to design processes, developing support plans, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimized system performance, reliability, and maintainability. You will be responsible for supporting ILS delivery that covers the full product life cycle, from concept to disposal. As ILS Manager you will: Head up and build business functionality by providing guidance on ILS functions Conduct detailed Logistics Supportability Analysis using techniques Contribute to the systems engineering process and product development by providing input on logistics-related requirements Develop comprehensive Support Plans and related ILS documentation for defence projects Lead project teams in the development of ILSP-S and functions Strong appreciation of ILS, Logistics and Through Life Support in a technical environment To be considered for a role you will have a traceable history in: Strong knowledge of logistics supportability analysis techniques A high level of experience in ILS management. A demonstrated knowledge of Defence acquisition policy and processes Familiarity with systems engineering principles is advantageous. Understand full life cycle management Experience in a defence SPO Excellent communications skills written and oral Experienced in Defence acquisition projects.
