Contract Details Position: Python, SQL & Power BI Developer Duration: Initial 3-Month Contract with possible extension to 6 months Start Date: ASAP Location: Bella Vista, Sydney Day rate: $1100 per day GST Hybrid: 50% onsite fornightly. About the role As the Python, SQL & Power BI Developer, you will work across a variety of data and reporting initiatives, including the development of automation solutions, SQL database optimisation, and enterprise-level Power BI reporting. You will collaborate with both technical and business teams to transform data into actionable insights while improving operational processes through automation and integration. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python scripts, applications, and automation solutions. Design and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions. Build and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations. Develop data integration and ETL processes across multiple systems. Work with stakeholders to gather reporting and analytical requirements. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve data, reporting, and application issues. Produce technical documentation and follow development best practices Essential Requirements This role requires strong hands-on experience across all three of the following technologies: Python scripting and development SQL development and database technologies Power BI reporting, data modelling, DAX, and Power Query Highly Regarded Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices Microsoft SQL Server REST APIs and system integrations Data warehousing and ETL development Infrastructure, network, or systems administration experience If you're a proven developer with deep expertise in Python, SQL, and Power BI and are looking for a challenging short-term engagement within a large enterprise environment, we'd love to hear from you.
