Join a leading Residential Home Builder in NSW Drive the pre-construction & approvals phase from start to finish Maternity leave cover / Fixed term contract About the Role An exciting opportunity has opened for a proactive Permits Officer to join our Residential Communities & Home Building Business Unit in NSW on a fixed term contract through to November 2027. We are seeking a highly organized professional to manage our pre-construction documentation and approvals processes. You will play a crucial part in ensuring legislative planning approvals (DA, CDC, CC) are seamlessly programmed and delivered in conjunction with our weekly construction schedules. Key Responsibilities Approval Management: Organise, track, and manage documentation to obtain DA, CDC, and CC approvals in a timely manner. Pre-site Coordination: Proactively manage and prioritise pre-site requirements and approvals to keep the Home Building delivery program on track. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders—including drafting, estimating, procurement, accounts, sales, councils, certifiers and water service coordinators. Tracking & Reporting: Order and monitor delivery time frames, maintain task management software (ClickHome), and provide clear progress reports to management. Administration Support: Handle general office duties, maintain accurate records, respond to queries. About You Strong understanding of the pre-construction process for residential home building. Exceptional organizational and proactive planning skills with the ability to multitask. Confident communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent business writing, literacy, and report presentation skills. High proficiency in MS Office applications. Previous experience with ClickHome software is highly desired, though not strictly essential.
