Leading Professional Services Firm Excellent Career opportunities Above market salary We're seeking a Business Analyst to support the ongoing development and enhancement of a growing managed accounts capability, while contributing to regulatory initiatives and platform transformation programs within wealth management at a leading global bank. 12 month contract Sydney - hybrid working $750-900 per day DOE This position offers the opportunity to work across trading, custody, managed accounts and portfolio management environments. The successful candidate will partner with business and technology teams to deliver meaningful outcomes across a range of strategic and regulatory projects. As a Business Analyst, you will take ownership of key features and initiatives from discovery through to delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements and support the implementation of scalable platform solutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead business analysis activities across regulatory, operational and transformation initiatives • Conduct stakeholder workshops, user research and requirements gathering sessions • Document business processes, user stories, use cases and process flows • Translate complex business rules into clear and actionable requirements • Support the delivery of technology uplift initiatives and platform improvements • Analyse and map data to support business decision making • Collaborate with technical and non technical stakeholders to drive outcomes • Assist with regulatory reporting and transaction reporting related initiatives • Contribute to the upgrade of a core portfolio management platform Required Experience and Skills • Experience within wealth management, investment platforms or financial services • Exposure to trading, custody, settlements, managed accounts or related investment products • Strong analytical and problem solving capability • Experience documenting complex business processes and requirements and ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders • Technical business analysis capability, including database tools and SQL • Comfortable using emerging technologies, including AI tools, to support analysis, discovery and productivity • Suitable for junior to mid level business analysts with relevant domain knowledge and technical capability If you have the above experience, please apply!
