Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly skilled Full-Time Retail Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will take charge of managing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that customer service standards, staff performance, and strict compliance requirements are maintained at all times during high-volume periods. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and direct the daily retail and front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service delivery across all areas of the store. Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation in accordance with company policies. Develop, implement, and review operational procedures and promotional initiatives to drive sales growth while maintaining cost targets. Monitor and manage store inventory, estimate stock requirements, and coordinate ordering from approved suppliers to minimize waste and avoid shortfalls. Maintain rigorous hygiene, safety, and compliance standards across all areas of the store in strict accordance with Australian workplace health and safety regulations. Inspect and supervise the maintenance of store equipment and facilities, escalating issues to relevant contractors or suppliers as required. Train, supervise, and coordinate front-of-house staff and casual employees in customer service best practices and company procedures. Manage staff rostering, performance reviews, and day-to-day HR matters in line with the Fair Work Act and applicable awards. Enforce portion control, pricing accuracy, and presentation standards to ensure consistent quality and cost management. Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: Qualifications: An Australian AQF Certificate IV in Retail Management, Business, Commercial Cooker or Hospitality (or an equivalent international qualification). Experience: Hands-on experience working in Hospitality Industry in Australia. Technical Skills: Sound understanding of stock management, rostering, POS systems, sales reporting, and front-of-house operations. Attributes: Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak weekend evening rushes, strong communication skills in English, and a collaborative team-focused mindset.
