About the Client Our client is a well-established civil engineering and construction contractor delivering complex infrastructure, structural and industrial projects across a range of sectors. Their expertise includes civil works, structural construction, mechanical installation, transport infrastructure, rail, resources and commercial developments. . What You Will Be Doing In this role you will be working across two projects in a long term role Working Monday Friday, starting at 6:30am and doing 9 hour days, your main duties will include: Assisting with creek bank stabilisation and erosion control works along waterways and drainage corridors Installing erosion and sediment control measures, including silt fencing, coir logs and geotextile materials Carrying out vegetation clearing, weed removal and site preparation activities Assisting with some minor concreting works Supporting excavation and earthworks crews with trenching, backfilling and ground remediation works Planting native vegetation and assisting with revegetation and environmental restoration programs Assisting plant operators and civil crews with material handling and site set-up Conducting general labouring duties, housekeeping and site clean-up to maintain a safe work environment What You Will Need Drivers Licence reliable transport Previous civil experience (min 12 months) Previous experience assisting with concreting, landscaping and drainage White Card Physically fit as work will be labour intensive What's In It For You?
