Job details $55/hr Penalties Travel Allowance Start date - 20th July Rochedale Location About the Client Our Client is a respected civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure and development projects across South East Queensland. They are currently seeking experienced Civil Concreters/Pit Builders to join their team on a long-term project based in Rochedale, offering stable work and excellent rates. What you will be doing As a Civil Concreter/Pit Builder you will be responsible for the below duties: Reading construction drawings and specifications for pit building and concrete works Setting out pit locations and levels to project requirements Building stormwater pits and installing pit lids, grates and access covers Constructing kerbs, gutters and culverts Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively Installing barricades and exclusion zones Completing manual handling tasks as required Assisting with site preparation and general clean-up duties What you will need To be successful in this role you will need to have the below: Previous experience as a Civil Concreter or Pit Builder Proven experience constructing pits and concrete structures White Card Drivers Licence and reliable transport Ability to perform physical labouring duties Strong commitment to workplace safety HR Licence or operating tickets highly advantageous What's in it for you $55/hr Penalties $22.50 Daily Travel Allowance $20 OT Meal Allowance 10-month project with potential for ongoing opportunities APPLY NOW!
