The Opportunity We are seeking a Board Director who can bring a strong digital and technology lens to governance. This Director will help the Board understand the emerging technologies and develop digital literacy and how these insights can inform strategy, organisational performance, reputation and decision-making. We are looking for an individual with deep expertise in technology, digital transformation, data security and innovation, together with experience operating at Board, executive or governance level. Key Experience In addition to the requirements of the Board Director Position Description, the successful candidate will demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas: Financial and digital oversight of significant digital projects for an organisation and accountability for benefits realised from these Experience in digital technology, information technology and cyber security, incidents and reporting. Ability to probe the adequacies of digital risk controls in a complex organisation Experience at governance or executive level in working in prioritising digital investments, overseeing operations (including third party and cloud providers) and establishing digital frameworks aligned to strategic goals Key Selection Criteria The successful candidate will demonstrate: Previous Board Director or executive experience, ideally within aged care, health, or a similarly complex environment Experience in digital transformation, enterprise IT architecture and software implementation Experience in governing cyber risk, digital infrastructure and data governance The ability to translate digital frameworks into governance discussions and organisational improvement Strong strategic thinking, sound judgement and a commitment to integration of emerging technologies to support our customers and communities Applications will close 5.00pm Wednesday 29th July 2026.
