07th July, 2026 Full Job Description Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Hydraulic Facilities Supervisor for a 2-month contract, with the possibility of extension, supporting the maintenance and operation of a major healthcare facility in South Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a strong background in hydraulic services, facilities maintenance, and asset management who enjoys leading teams and working within a critical infrastructure environment. About the Role As the Hydraulic Facilities Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance and performance of hydraulic and mechanical building services while leading a team of plumbers, maintenance technicians, and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising planned and reactive maintenance activities Managing hydraulic and mechanical building services Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, WHS, and statutory requirements Monitoring maintenance through CMMS systems (QFM, Pronto, SAP or similar) Overseeing critical infrastructure including: Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants Chlorination systems Water treatment and potable water systems Central Sterilising Services (CSSD) Conducting inspections, audits, and technical reporting Driving asset reliability and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Trade qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical Services, or Building Services Experience supervising maintenance teams Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and water infrastructure Experience using CMMS or asset management systems Strong understanding of WHS, compliance, and risk management Excellent leadership and communication skills Desirable QBCC Plumbing Licence Backflow Prevention and TMV endorsements Plumbing Contractor's Licence Previous experience within hospitals or healthcare facilities Dual trade qualifications (Electrical or Gas) What's On Offer 2-month contract with potential extension Opportunity to work within a critical healthcare environment Diverse leadership role with a strong focus on asset management Supportive team and professional working environment If you're an experienced Hydraulic Facilities Supervisor looking for your next contract opportunity, apply now for immediate consideration o send your resume to Apply For Job
