Everyone’s flat out but nobody really knows where the leaks are anymore. This role exists before that happens. A growing mechanical services contractor in Melbourne’s South East is looking for someone commercially sharp enough to build operational structure properly while the business scales. Not after the chaos starts. Before it. The foundations are already there: Established project flow Existing PMs in place Strong client relationships Ownership already investing ahead of growth, not reacting after it Clear ambition to move into larger-scale projects over the next few years What they need now is someone who can connect estimating, delivery, labour planning, commercial performance and operational discipline into one properly functioning Projects division. Someone practical. Operationally sharp. Hands-on enough to spot problems early instead of reviewing them three months later in a meeting nobody wanted to attend. You’ll drive estimating, delivery, labour planning, subcontractors, workflow systems and overall project performance. The role reports directly to the Owner and carries genuine influence over how the department evolves. Not everything is perfectly built yet. That’s exactly why this role exists.
