About the role selectability is offering an exciting development opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to gain experience in a Senior Youth Worker role from 25 May 2026 to 12 June 2026 in the Mackay region by working alongside the current Senior Youth Worker. Our youth residential program provides accommodation and intensive support to children and young people with a range of needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shadow and support an experienced Senior Youth Worker, gaining hands-on exposure to leadership responsibilities within the program. You will assist in coaching and mentoring Youth Workers, supporting the team to meet the needs of children and young people while promoting culturally safe and competent practice. This opportunity will also involve working collaboratively with children, young people, families, and stakeholders to contribute to the development and delivery of cultural strength plans.
