Summary: We are urgently seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers and Residential Youth Workers to join our team in Ipswich, Queensland. This temporary, casual role is vital in providing essential support and care to individuals with disabilities and youth in residential settings. Your contributions will significantly enhance the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development. Responsibilities: Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities and youth in residential settings. Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility. Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Monitor and document clients’ progress and any changes in their condition. Promote social inclusion and community engagement for clients. Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery. Implement behaviour support strategies as outlined in individual plans. Qualifications: Previous experience in disability support or youth work is preferred. Relevant qualifications in health, social care, or a related field (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support) are advantageous and Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient approach to care. Understanding of health and safety regulations in a care environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Valid First Aid and CPR certification. Valid Blue card and Yellow card
