About Coastal Dental Care Coastal Dental Care has been part of the Gold Coast and Northern NSW community since 2005. We’re a network of local family practices, and Robina Town Centre is your local team within it, led by Dr Tristan Cuffe. Located right in the heart of Robina Town Centre, our practice combines advanced technology with a personalised, friendly approach. About the role We’re after a Dental Assistant to join the Robina Town Centre team, working alongside our established dentist and reporting to our Practice Manager. The roster is fixed: Tuesday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm, with a one-hour break. It’s four full days rather than five, so you get every Monday and the whole weekend to yourself. Each shift runs from open to close, so we’re after someone used to the pace of a busy practice who can bring steady energy to a full day chairside. What you’ll be doing Setting up and packing down treatment rooms and the sterilisation room each day Preparing instruments and materials for each patient’s treatment Assisting chairside: passing instruments, using suction, and taking digital X-rays Following our infection control protocols, including cleaning, sterilising and storing instruments, and keeping sterilisation records Welcoming and settling patients, and answering their questions where you can Keeping treatment rooms stocked and flagging any equipment issues to the Practice Coordinator Helping out on reception when the team needs an extra hand What we’re looking for Essential At least 1 year’s experience as a Dental Assistant Confident with infection control protocols and a current first aid certificate (or willing to update it) Up to date immunisations Professional presentation and a genuine team player Comfortable prioritising a busy day and staying organised under pressure Preferred Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting Working knowledge of Dental for Windows (D4W) Some reception experience Why join us?
