About the Role Multiple opportunities are available for Carpentry Apprentices at 1st or 2nd year level, including mature age candidates. These full time positions offer the chance to work across commercial construction projects, gaining hands on experience while completing a CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry. Apprentices will work alongside experienced tradespeople and develop practical skills across a range of specialised carpentry and cladding systems. Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the installation of aluminium façade cladding Support framing activities including rondo and timber stud wall systems Work with a variety of cladding systems including fibre cement, composite and aluminium products Assist in the installation of fibre cement cladding systems such as Equitone and Exotec Contribute to the construction of feature timber ceilings, wall linings and decking Support custom timber and metal pre fabricated architectural works Maintain safe work practices on all job sites About You Motivated and committed to building a career in carpentry Reliable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Able to work effectively within a team environment Committed to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace Requirements Current driver’s licence Pre-apprenticeship in carpentry or Certificate II in Construction Pathways (advantageous for new starters) Previous exposure to construction environments through work experience or employment Ability to pass a pre employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening Australian citizen or permanent resident Working at Heights and EWP tickets are advantageous but not essential, with training provided where required.
