Our Client, Hitech Sheetmetal Pty Ltd is looking for a qualified Sheetmetal Workers. Hitech Sheetmetal is a specialist in the manufacture of HVAC air conditioning and ventilation ductwork, complying with Australian Standards. The company handles projects of all sizes, from small residential jobs to large commercial tenders, and has significant expertise in fire-rated duct systems, particularly the Fyrewrap method. Hitech Sheetmetal also provides a range of general sheet metal fabrication services, including steel fabrication, custom flashings, kitchen hoods, stainless steel welding, and more. Duties and Responsibilities: Manufacture, repair and install assemblies, such as heating and air conditioning ducts, stainless steel range hood, flashing, pipes, in supportive frameworks. Select gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material, according to specifications. Cut, bend, drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets. Fasten seams and joints together with Pittsburgh locformer machine, seam locking machine, welds, bolts, rivets to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items. Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, and drills. Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools. Finish parts using hand tools Shape metal material over anvils, blocks, or other forms, using hand tools.
