BE FOODCORP PTY LTD Bellagio Cafe Waverley NSW 2024 Position: Pastry Cook Full-Time Position Salary: AUD $80,000 per annum plus superannuation About Us Bellagio Cafe is a well-established café and bakery located in Waverley, NSW, known for providing high-quality pastries, baked goods, cakes, and café-style dining experiences. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Pastry Cook to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for: Checking the cleanliness of equipment and the operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. Inspecting the quality of raw materials and accurately weighing ingredients. Preparing, kneading, maturing, mixing, cutting, moulding, and shaping dough and pastry products. Preparing a variety of pastry fillings and baked goods. Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times and ensure product consistency. Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of pastry and bakery products. Glazing buns and pastries and decorating cakes using cream, icing, and other finishing techniques. Operating bakery machinery used for rolling, moulding dough, and cutting biscuits and pastry products. Cleaning, greasing, and maintaining baking trays, tins, and other bakery equipment. Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times. Assisting with stock control and ordering of baking ingredients as required. Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must have: Relevant qualification in the Pastry field and At least two (2) years of full-time relevant work experience as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or similar role. Strong knowledge of pastry production techniques and food safety requirements. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. What We Offer Full-time permanent position.
