Requirements Responsibility for operational aspects of our Restaurant kitchen. Develop new recipes and menu items Ensure quality and presentation of all foods Training and developing Junior kitchen staff Preparing and cooking variety of Indian dishes using traditional and modern techniques Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment Assisting in the ordering and controlling of Stocks Discussing food preparation issues with senior management Maintaining Quality and Presentation standards Implementing systems & procedures Implementing and Inspecting hygiene of workplace Maintaining & establishing safe & secure workplace Skills and Qualifications - AQF associate degree, Certificate IV in relevant Hospitality qualification or Diploma level - Prior experience as a Chef minimum 1 Year . - Strong knowledge of cooking methods and operating kitchen tools and equipment. - Ability to work Full Time. - Flexible to work on a rotating roster.
