About the Role This role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, particularly in remote branches where contractor support is relied upon. You will play a key role in leading maintenance standards, supporting operational reliability, and ensuring equipment performance across the business Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across national branches, ensuring timely execution of work orders Provide technical support to internal teams and contractors for both planned and reactive maintenance Monitor and drive completion of maintenance work orders, ensuring accurate system close-out Own and continuously improve the preventive maintenance (PM) framework, including policies and asset structures in MEX Manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure availability across all sites Maintain maintenance systems, technical documentation, and compliance records Support safety, compliance, and operational integrity aligned with company standards Travel interstate as required to support maintenance activities and contractor capability Oversee maintenance of Head Office facilities in Yennora About You 5 years’ experience in maintenance roles, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices Experience managing maintenance systems (e.g. MEX or similar CMMS) Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate contractors Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Qualifications Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Why Join Coregas?
