Machine Operator and Irrigation Assistant Roles – Maryborough Macadamia Farm Management is a leader in large-scale macadamia nut production. We are seeking a Machine Operator and an Irrigation Assistant to join our Maryborough team in casual roles with potential to go permanent. About the Roles: Machine Operator Operating macadamia harvesters, slashers, mowers, sprayers, spreaders and other machinery Driving quad bikes and farm buggies Cleaning, greasing and basic maintenance of equipment Using GPS and autosteer systems (training provided) Assisting with harvest and general orchard duties Requirements: Prior machinery operation experience (agriculture preferred), mechanical aptitude, physically fit, QLD Driver’s Licence. Irrigation Assistant Monitoring and operating irrigation systems, pumps and filters Checking and maintaining irrigation lines and emitters Fertigation tasks General orchard maintenance and manual labour Supporting harvest operations when needed Requirements: Experience with irrigation or plumbing advantageous, strong attention to detail, physically fit, QLD Driver’s Licence.
