Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Bundoora, Victoria. This permanent, full-time role is essential in providing high-quality therapeutic services to our clients, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our multidisciplinary team, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive and tailored care. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop individualised treatment plans. Implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions to enhance clients’ functional abilities and independence. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and support for clients. Educate clients and their families about treatment options and strategies for daily living. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in accordance with organisational policies. Participate in professional development activities and stay current with best practices in occupational therapy. Supervise and mentor junior therapists and support staff as required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification. Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on rehabilitation and community care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
