The Role: The Commercial Partnerships Lead – ANZ be responsible for the commercial management and developing long-term sustainable relationships with facility providers. This is a commercially focused leadership role requiring exceptional storytelling skills to influence and engage partners, sharp negotiation capabilities to secure favourable contracts, and strong commercial acumen to drive business performance. You will harness advanced analytical tools to surface insights that shape strategy, while communicating with clarity and impact across all levels. You will lead strategic re-negotiations, develop strong partnerships aligned with Fitness Passport’s mission, and ensure the ongoing stability and quality of our gym network across ANZ. This role will be a 6-month fixed term contract covering a maternity leave. What You’ll Do: Lead and mentor the Network Partnerships team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, communicating vision with clarity and conviction Lead complex facility contract negotiations and renewals, applying commercial acumen to secure long-term, value-driven agreements in line with company requirements and delegated authorities Leverage Power BI and AI tools (including Claude) to develop data-driven business strategies, identify network risks, and surface actionable insights to optimise facility operations and network capacity Act as the primary point of escalation for facility concerns and opportunities for collaboration Build and craft compelling commercial narratives using data and analytics to tell the Fitness Passport story, optimise partner engagement, and present network performance insights to senior stakeholders Contribute to the Network strategy and advocate for the needs of facilities to senior management Ensure timely and accurate reporting for both internal and external stakeholders About You: Genuinely curious and passionate about health, wellness, and fitness A commercially astute, results-driven leader with at least 5 years of experience in B2B partnerships, with a track record of crafting compelling commercial narratives that win partners and drive business outcomes Highly skilled negotiator with demonstrated experience structuring and closing complex commercial contracts, underpinned by strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of commercial levers that drive mutual value Analytically strong, with hands-on experience using Power BI and AI-powered tools (including Claude) to interrogate data, generate insights, and translate complex information into clear, actionable strategies — a strong AI focus and digital literacy are highly valued An exceptional verbal communicator who can engage, influence, and inspire — equally comfortable presenting to the boardroom, facilitating partner negotiations, or rallying a team around a shared commercial vision Proven ability to develop and nurture long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, with the gravitas to represent Fitness Passport as a commercial partner of choice Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, and flexible and willing to travel as required What You’ll Love: Fitness Passport is officially a Great Place to Work® — again!
