Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) is seeking an experienced and people-focused Regional Services Manager to lead our Brisbane South community services portfolio during a period of parental leave coverage. Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will oversee centre-based respite, in-home support, and community programs, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred services while supporting operational performance and team success. You'll inherit an established service with experienced teams, existing referral pathways, and strong community relationships, allowing you to focus on leading people, strengthening partnerships, and enhancing service outcomes from day one. This role would suit experienced leaders from aged care, home care, disability, health, or other regulated community service environments who enjoy balancing operational leadership with compassionate, client-centred care. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of centre-based respite and community services. Support, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance. Monitor service delivery, budgets, utilisation, and operational outcomes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community stakeholders. Strengthen referral pathways and identify opportunities for service growth. Ensure compliance with funding requirements, quality standards, and organisational policies. Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management activities. Coordinate reporting, accreditation activities, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with the State Manager to achieve service objectives and strategic priorities. Promote a culture of person-centred, values-based care across all services. About You Must have full Australian working rights with no restrictions. Recognised qualification in aged care, health, disability, community services, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience leading aged care, community, disability, or health services. Experience managing teams, budgets, and operational performance. Strong understanding of community-based service delivery and person-centred care principles. Proven ability to build strong stakeholder and community relationships. Sound knowledge of compliance, governance, risk, and quality standards. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate. Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
