Key Perks and Finer Details $50 - $60 per hour Worker Retention Payment Super Full-time off-the-floor position The Educational Leader is considered part of the leadership team and contributes to strategic program and practice direction Our client offers unique benefits to Educational Leaders, including; Reggio Emilia education travel to Italy Education sponsorship opportunities at Harvard This is a unique opportunity to work for an Early Years Provider who truly values their people, development and employee satisfaction Ongoing paid training for Educational Leaders This position reports to the Head of Pedagogy with a dotted line to the Centre Director Key Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation, and continuous review of an evidence-based curriculum aligned with the EYLF/NQF, ensuring intentional teaching practices are embedded across all rooms and reflect the centre's premium educational philosophy. Drive the centre's QIP from a position of full accountability, identifying strengths and areas for growth across all seven Quality Areas, and leading the service toward (or maintaining) Exceeding ratings under the NQS. Provide hands-on coaching, modelling, and structured professional development to educators and room leaders, building team capability in reflective practice, observation and planning cycles, and high-quality interactions with children. Maintain rigorous oversight of compliance with the National Law, Regulations, and NQF requirements, working closely with the Nominated Supervisor and Approved Provider to manage risk, audits, and regulatory relationships. Set the long-term educational vision for the service, researching and introducing contemporary pedagogical approaches (e.g. Montessori, Reggio-inspired, nature pedagogy) that align with the centre's reputation and the expectations of an affluent family demographic. Build strong, transparent relationships with families around their children's learning and development, including leading parent education initiatives, transition processes, and responding to the high engagement expectations typical of this client base. Oversee documentation, assessment, and evaluation systems across the service, using data on children's learning outcomes to inform curriculum decisions and to report progress to the Approved Provider/Director and families.
