Glass Recruitment is partnering with an established and highly respected design-led business to appoint a talented Senior Interior Designer with proven retail project experience. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and creative team responsible for delivering innovative retail environments for well-known brands across Australia. Working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants and project teams, you'll play a key role in leading projects from concept through to delivery. The Opportunity We're seeking a commercially minded and design-focused Senior Interior Designer who understands how to create engaging customer experiences through thoughtful retail design. You'll be confident managing multiple projects, mentoring junior team members, and presenting ideas to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead retail design projects from concept development through to documentation and delivery Develop innovative design solutions that enhance customer experience and align with brand objectives Produce presentation material, concept packages, and client-facing documentation Prepare detailed documentation and drawing packages Coordinate consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables Conduct site visits and support project delivery through construction Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle Mentor and support junior designers within the team About You Degree qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline 5 years' experience within interior design, with a strong focus on retail projects Demonstrated experience delivering projects from concept through to completion Strong understanding of retail environments, customer journeys, and branded spaces Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills Experience using Vectorworks will be highly regarded Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced design environment What's On Offer Salary package of $110,000 - $120,000 Super Opportunity to work on exciting retail projects for recognised brands Collaborative and supportive team culture Career progression opportunities within a growing business Modern office environment and flexible working arrangements If you're a Senior Interior Designer with a passion for retail design and are looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
