They are seeking an Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant to manage financial activities. Based on the Gold Coast, this permanent full-time position offers onsite parking, a range of employee benefits, and the opportunity to work closely with the day-to-day operations of the business. The Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in managing the company's financial administration and supporting the wider business. Your responsibilities will include: Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Performing bank and account reconciliations Processing end-to-end payroll Preparing and lodging BAS statements Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero Assisting with new employee onboarding and HR administration Providing general administrative support as required Answering incoming calls and assisting with office operations About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Previous experience in a Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, or similar finance role Strong working knowledge of Xero Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Experience working within a small to medium-sized business environment Payroll processing and BAS preparation experience Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills A practical, hands-on approach with strong communication abilities The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment What's On Offer?
