In search of a capable, driven, and technically strong Senior Civil Design Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience to join the growing civil engineering team. In this role, you will lead civil design packages, manage projects from concept to completion, and engage directly with clients and local planning authorities. Key responsibilities include: Leading high-quality technical design documentation, bulk earthworks, road geometry, and utility design. Overseeing flood modeling, hydrology analysis, and Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) implementation. Applying fundamental project management principles to ensure designs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Managing civil construction contracts, conducting site surveillance, and delivering technical reports for engineering certification. Liaising directly with clients, sub-consultants, Queensland Rail, and local South East Queensland (SEQ) councils. Who We Are Looking For A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia. RPEQ, NER, or CPEng accreditation (or actively working toward achieving it). 7 years of post-graduate experience within an engineering consultancy, with a strong background in civil design, project management, and contract administration. Recent experience applying Australian design standards to projects delivered in South East Queensland, with a strong understanding of local council planning schemes. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management. A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and unrestricted Australian Work Rights.
