Talentweb is looking to speak with experienced senior civil engineers for an opportunity with a highly respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Civil Engineering to join its growing leadership team in Sydney. The role offers the chance to lead major projects, mentor and develop engineers, strengthen client relationships, and play a key role in the continued growth of a high-performing civil engineering business. You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning commercial, mixed-use, residential, industrial, infrastructure, education, health and urban development sectors, collaborating closely with structural, traffic, flood and construction engineering teams. The Role Leading the delivery of complex civil engineering projects from concept through to completion. Providing technical leadership across stormwater, drainage, earthworks, roads, servicing and civil infrastructure design. Managing project programmes, budgets, resources and commercial outcomes. Building and maintaining strong client relationships across developers, architects, contractors and government stakeholders. Mentoring and developing engineers and designers within the civil team. Reviewing and approving technical designs and documentation. Preparing fee proposals, tenders and project submissions. Contributing to business growth, strategic planning and team development initiatives. About You 12 years of consulting engineering experience. Strong civil design and project delivery experience across land development, buildings and/or infrastructure projects. Demonstrated leadership experience managing project teams and mentoring engineers. Experience managing project financials, budgets and client relationships. Proven ability to win work, prepare proposals and contribute to business development activities. Strong understanding of Australian design standards and approval processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Chartered status (CPEng) or working towards chartership will be highly regarded.
