Benefits: Casual Rates - Full-time Hours Temp-to-Perm Career Development Opportunities Great Team Environment Key Responsibilities: Assemble fibre optic and mechanical components according to work instructions and technical drawings Forklift Operation Loading & unloading Perform 100% self-inspection of your work before passing it to the next stage Ensure all assemblies meet strict quality standards on the first pass (minimal rework) Complete tasks within defined production times specified in work instructions Use hand tools and precision equipment (e.g. rivet guns, torque tools, measurement tools) Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace (5S standards) Identify and raise any quality or process issues immediately Licences, Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in manual assembly, precision work, or similar technical environment Forklift Licence Driver's Licence Unlimited Australian Work Rights Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills Ability to read and follow work instructions (technical drawings is a plus) Experience with quality-focused work environments preferred You are reliable and consistent — attendance and punctuality are critical You are comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented work for extended periods You naturally work with precision and care, but without unnecessary slowness You take responsibility for your own quality — you do not rely on others to catch mistakes You are able to follow standard procedures exactly as defined You are hands-on and enjoy working with tools and fine assembly Driver’s Licence If you are looking for a great opportunity in a position that offers longevity and possess the skills & experience required, please apply now or contact us directly: Office: 03 9088 6970 | Email: jess.wilson@rprtrades.com Please note that you need to reside in Australia to be considered for this position.
