We are seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Electrician to join a well-established food manufacturing business. This role is suited to someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, improving equipment performance and working across automated production environments. The Role PLC programming, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis HMI programming and support Fault finding across automated manufacturing equipment Controls wiring, installation and modifications Safety circuit fault finding and interpretation Electrical project work and improvement initiatives Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance support Preventative maintenance scheduling About You You will bring: A Grade Electrical Licence Strong industrial automation experience PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron or similar) HMI programming experience Ability to read and interpret electrical/control drawings Strong understanding of motors, drives, sensors and control systems Hands-on mechanical aptitude Highly regarded: Certificate IV Integrated Technologies Food manufacturing/FMCG background Thermoforming or packaging equipment experience What's On Offer Permanent opportunity $65 - $70 per hour plus overtime Stable manufacturing environment Supportive team and modern facility Immediate start available If you enjoy being the person others come to when equipment problems get complex, this could be a great opportunity.
