Community Care Foundation is seeking expressions of interest for a Permanent Part-Time Maintenance & Grounds Officer position, working 12 hours per week across our properties and service locations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is practical, reliable, and enjoys a variety of work while helping ensure our homes and workplaces remain safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. What you’ll be doing: ✅ Lawn mowing, edging and garden maintenance ✅ General repairs and property maintenance ✅ Minor painting and handyman tasks ✅ Property inspections and maintenance reporting ✅ Furniture assembly and relocation ✅ Rubbish removal and site clean-up ✅ Assisting with property improvement projects What we’re looking for: ✔ Experience in maintenance, gardening, handyman services or a similar field ✔ Current Driver’s Licence ✔ Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively ✔ Strong communication and problem-solving skills ✔ Commitment to workplace health and safety Equipment Allowance Available Community Care Foundation offers a generous equipment allowance for approved personal equipment used for work purposes, including: • Lawn mowers • Whipper snippers • Trailers • Gardening equipment • Maintenance tools • Waste removal equipment All equipment used for work purposes must meet workplace health and safety requirements and may be subject to inspection.
